Join us for six days of embodied practice.
Days will begin with morning practice, followed by breakfast and plenty of time nourish, rest and explore. In the evenings we’ll practice again and as the sun begins to set, soak in the nourishing golden light, taking time to be still, to move less, and to soften.
This retreat beautifully weaves together daily physical practice and time for deep connection to nature and stillness.
La Joya
Minutes away from the hustle and bustle of Sayulita is a winding cobblestone road that leads to playa Escondida, the hidden beach. It’s here, nestled between coconut palms and a quartz adorned boulder on the shore, that you’ll find La Joya.
A family-run boutique hotel and retreat space La Joya offers elegant accommodation, wellness focused amenities and the opportunity to reconnect: to self, to nature, to whatever’s most important to you.

*Group transfer is available for those arriving by 4:30pm on Feb 21 and departing after 11:00am on Feb 26.
If your flight falls outside this window, you’ll be responsible for arranging your own transport — but we’re happy to help coordinate a ride through La Joya.

• Airfare to/from Puerto Vallarta (PVR)
• Spa treatments, bodywork, etc.
• Extras — golf cart rentals, surf lessons, bar tab, etc.

• The closest airport is Puerto Vallarta (PVR) — about 60km from the retreat center
• Check-in at La Joya begins at 4:00pm on Friday, February 20

FAQ
+ How much is the deposit? When is my balance due?
• A non-refundable deposit of $800 reserves your space. Half of the remaining balance is due October 15 and the remainder due December 15.
+ What's the Cancellation Policy?
• Deposits secure your spot on the trip and are not refundable. Refunds for the balance payments vary depending on timing. For cancellation requests submitted with 120-61 days before retreat date: 50% of total amount above the deposit will be refunded. For cancellation requests submitted 60 days or less are non-refundable. No one books a retreat with the intention of canceling, but unexpected events do occur, so please consider purchasing travel insurance. Exceptions cannot be made for any reason, including weather, injury/illness, or personal emergencies. No refunds or credits will be granted for failure to attend, or for arriving late or leaving early.
+ Do I need to bring my yoga mat?
• All yoga props, including Manduka mats, are provided by La Joya
+ What does the daily schedule look like??
• Everything on retreat is optional. That said, the schedule of a typical day looks like:
8am Vinyasa Yoga
9:45am Breakfast
2pm Lunch
5:30pm Slow, Restoravtive Yoga
7pm Dinner
In between you'll have plenty of time to rest by the pool, scramble on the rocks by the ocean, or take a nap. On at least one day we'll have a late morning workshop and skip the evening class - which is the perfect time to head off site.
+ Is the water safe to drink?
• All water onsite is safe to drink from the tap. If you plan to go into town, I suggest bringing water or purchasing bottled water.
+ Participant Responsibility
• Participants are responsible to be adequately insured, therefore Traveler’s Insurance is strongly recommended. We are not to be held responsible for changes beyond our control. There are no refunds due to flight cancellations or changes, political unrest or bad weather. By submitting payment toward your retreat you accept these Terms and Conditions.
+ Do I need Pesos?
• We recommend that you change some money before leaving at your local bank as they often offer the best rates. While anything extra can be charged to your room, it is still good to have some local currency on hand if you venture off property.
